a beautiful haven

The full kitchen was very useful. I could easily shop and cook meals. the bus stop was just around the corner from the main road. the staff were amazing and always at the end of the phone or downstairs in the great little bar to help. It was a wonderful service.
There were no keys to access the building or rooms. I had to be called or texted all the codes to get in.

The bar offered 2-4-1 cocktails from 12-7 during the week and 12-5 at the weekends. They tasted good. the owner of the hotel is a great person, eager to provide assistance when needed. It was so lovely.

The staff always asked how mum was each day as she was in hospital. even the owner enquired. This human touch meant so very much. the locals are a great bunch too. It reminded me of home.

the room was clean and modern. the bed was super comfortable (i slept like a baby!). i especially liked the newly renovated bathroom with a very good shower. check-in was straightforward and easy.
The soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear some noise from the hallway.

the room was decorated beautifully. the modern design was a plus, and i especially liked the tv with netflix, it helped me relax after a long day. the bus stop right next door made getting around very easy.
The room lacked some cleaning. There was rubble in the drawer. also, i found cigarette butts, a real oversight.
